Why We Celebrate

Advent marks the beginning of the Church year and is the four Sundays leading up to Christmas. We are invited to slow down and embrace the posture of waiting with hopeful expectation for Christ's second coming as we prepare to celebrate his first coming in Bethlehem.

Service Schedule

5:30-6:15 PM:
Advent Dinner, Sabbath talk, and Candlelight Prayer 5:30-6:15 pm

We will provide a light soup, salad, and bread dinner in the back of the sanctuary. During the last 15 minutes Deacon Leslie will give a short talk on Sabbath.

6:30-7:45 PM:
Prayer Service and Holy Communion

We will have a candlelight prayer service with singing that concludes with Holy Communion.
