Tuesday night Bible Study

Please contact Paula Tremaine regarding the Bible Study at her home on Tuesday evenings.

De-Café Wednesdays (beginning September 16th Ready for a mid-week break and lesson from Scripture?  We are tying out a new format for the Wednesday morning small groups.  Join us in the coffee house De-Café (aka  ‘Youth Room’) for a cuppa java or whatever and some peaceful conversation about what’s on your mind.  We don’t have a set agenda or formal Bible study plan.  We want to listen to you and then help you find the peace and comfort you deserve.  God has a plan for you.  But all too often we are too busy to even look at the plan, let alone understand it and follow it.  Our goal in gathering for a weekly break is to help you discern what God has planned for you. We’ll bring in the appropriate resources, including scripture, compassion, and clergy to make that plan a reality.  On the other hand perhaps you have joys to share; we’d love to hear them.  Those who come (we’ll be here between 11:00 and 11:50 every Wednesday) are invited to stay for the Noon Eucharist.  But don’t worry if you can’t stay that long, we’ll be happy if you drop in and join us for just a few minutes.

Please contact Michael Clayton for more information about this class.

Wednesday evening -- Foundations

The Foundations small group will resume meeting Wednesday evenings. 5:30- 8:00 PM in the Library beginning September 16th.   Our group focuses on discipleship, fellowship, and strengthening our faith by building on a solid foundation of Christian teaching.  Our plans for the fall are to present The Truth Project. What is it?  The Truth Project is a DVD-based small group curriculum comprised of 12 one-hour lessons taught by Dr. Del Tackett from Focus on the Family. This small group study is the starting point for looking at life from a biblical perspective. Each lesson discusses in great detail the relevance and importance of living the Christian worldview in daily life. If this sounds like something you would like to get involved or would like more information please contact Connie Lenk at 852-0520.  Go to www.TheTruthProject.org to see a trailer clip and learn more about the program. We begin each session with a time of fellowship and you are invited to bring your supper with you.  A sign-up sheet is located on the Bulletin Board in the Parish Hall.
