Altar Guild
The All Saints Altar Guild is a group of men and women who are called to serve God by preparing and tending the places where his people worship him. Their work is a thank offering of time and many talents, a ministry of love undertaken in the name of Christ.
The Altar Guild is the priest’s partner in making the worship life of the parish run smoothly. It is divided into four teams, with a captain assigned to each team, and each team’s duty is for one week (Saturday to Saturday). The priest appoints the directress.
Altar work goes on quietly behind the scenes, and shoulders a wide range of responsibilities: preparation for weekly worship services, purchasing vestments and linens, managing flower monies and arranging and/or ordering the flowers, replenishing the supply of bread, wine and candles, as well as laundering the linens.
O Lord Jesus Christ, who didst accept the ministry of faithful men and women during thy earthly life: We pray thee to accept and bless the work which this Altar Guild undertakes in the care of thy Sanctuary; Grant us a spirit of reverence for thy House and Worship, thy Word and Sacraments, and preserve in purity and holiness our own souls and bodies as living temples of thy presence, to whom with the Father and the Holy Spirit we give praise and honor, now and forever.

Hearts and Hands
Hearts and Hands is a vital pastoral ministry of All Saints that provides fleece tied blankets to the sick, shut-in, and lonely, both within our congregation and beyond. The ministry of Hearts and Hands was established with the premise of demonstrating Christ’s love and care to those who suffer in any way. Each blanket that is given away is made with love and prayer, offering the Christ's presence in their time of need.
Hearts and Hands meet on the first Saturday of each month. Any one interested in participating in this ministry is welcome. No sewing is required! Each blanket costs appropately $20 to $25. Monetary and material donations are gladly accepted and appreciated (memo line: Hearts and Hands). For more information, Please contact Carol Galagan at (661) 663-8128.

Outreach
The Outreach Committee over the years has supported both local organizations and missionaries worldwide. We have also supported two recent seminarians and former parishioners, Christina Vance and Michelle Terwiller. Michelle is now serving in Kentucky and Christina has recently graduated from seminary in Pennsylvania.
There are many more that past and present members that are and were involved in All Saints Outreach Committee. To them outreach is not just a committee but a large part of the soul of All Saints. You are invited to join our committee. We meet informally between the services when necessary or communicate by email. Please contact Sarah Perelli-Minetti for more information.

Small/Home Groups
Tuesday night Bible Study
Please contact Paula Tremaine regarding the Bible Study at her home on Tuesday evenings.
De-Café Wednesdays
Ready for a mid-week break and lesson from Scripture? We are tying out a new format for the Wednesday morning small groups. Join us in the coffee house De-Café Library for a cuppa java or whatever and some peaceful conversation about what’s on your mind. We don’t have a set agenda or formal Bible study plan. We want to listen to you and then help you find the peace and comfort you deserve. God has a plan for you. But all too often we are too busy to even look at the plan, let alone understand it and follow it. Our goal in gathering for a weekly break is to help you discern what God has planned for you. We’ll bring in the appropriate resources, including scripture, compassion, and clergy to make that plan a reality. On the other hand perhaps you have joys to share; we’d love to hear them. Those who come (we’ll be here between 11:00 and 11:50 every Wednesday) are invited to stay for the Noon Eucharist. But don’t worry if you can’t stay that long, we’ll be happy if you drop in and join us for just a few minutes.
Please contact Michael Clayton for more information about this class.
