Clergy ConferenceCLERGY CONFERENCE:  FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS:  ECCO:  September 27-29.  What if we awoke one morning after dreaming the Lord had called for a third Great Awakening – this time led by the very denominational Christians who corporately sat out the first two?  And what if we heard His voice saying, “All you need do to take your place in my next great move is to release the Spirit of Worship; Choose this day Whom you will serve; and rise, take up your pallet and walk, for the time of paralysis is passed?”  Would you decide you had misheard – that it cannot be so simple – or would you shout for joy that it really is so simple?  We live in a time when galaxies are literally declaring God’s glory – as it says in Psalms 19:1 – when our bodies are literally seen to hold together in Him – as it says in Colossians 1:17 – and when He wants to know are you in or are you out of my plan?  Our diocese has broken the old bonds of oppression that we can see – at Clergy Retreat this year we are invited to break through into the light of His future for us.  The Rev. Jim Wilson will lead us through the special season in which we live with a discussion of the season itself, hands on exercise of vision casting for the season, and an invitation to renew a culture of covenant with each other and with the Lord our God.  Come to ECCO September 27 through 29, spend time with the Lord and with our diocesan family, and see what the Lord has been planning for such a time as this.  Make reservations at www.conferencecenter.org.
