Daughters of the King

Debby Cavanagh, President
This summer, the All Saints Daughters group will be reviewing the Daughters of the Holy Cross Study Guide making this the perfect time for any woman who wants to deepen her walk with Jesus.  The Study Guide includes a three month discernment period to determine if you really want to make a vow before God and the congregation to increase your prayer, study, evangelism and service to Jesus.  If this is something that appeals to you, attend our meeting on June 13th after the second service.  The meeting will include lunch and give you an idea of what we do during our meetings.

Becoming a Daughter means you will become a member of a religious order.  We wear a silver cross every day to show a commitment to Jesus.  However, not a single one of us is perfect.  None of us are ideal pray-ers, nor do we obey God like we should.  We see this as a journey where our goal is to be more obedient and a better follower of Jesus today than we were yesterday.   Our monthly meetings is when encourage and support each other as we gather together.  We read a religious book as a discipline towards becoming a better Christian.  Our main service project is to oversee the annual Woman's Retreat every January.
