Daughters of the King

Daughters of the King is an order for women belonging to liturigical churches.  It is designed for women who wish to take a vow to pray continually and serve Jesus through their church and rector.  Because this is a difficult a vow to make and keep, we meet monthly to encourage each other in our spiritual growth.  We remember that perfection is a journey and we work every day to become better at praying and serving.  We do this through daily bible study, daily prayer, and gathering together to discuss a theological book.  Our service to All Saints includes organizing the annual Woman's retreat.

Becoming a member of our Order requires a three month study on the history and purpose of Daughters of the Kings.  Upon completion of the study women are welcomed into the Order during an initiation during a Sunday service where she will receive the traditional silver Greek fleury cross.  We meet on the thrd Sunday of the month directly after the second service.  We have a potluck lunch, discuss the book of the month, the take care of business.  Throughout the meeting, we laugh, encourage, complain to and uplift each other.  Our chapter is the Abigail Chapter #2675.  We welcome you to join us.
